Corporate Culture is an integrated communications company combining marketing and CR expertise to help its clients deliver business and social benefits. Their strong focus on social change has attracted major new clients resulting in a growth in revenue of 66% and pre tax profit of 356% over the last two years.

Established in 1986 in Liverpool by two brothers who wanted to bring jobs and skills back to their home town, Corporate Culture has held onto the ethos of commercial and social benefit for over 20 years.
 
In 2007, they incorporated an environmental management plan into their already robust management processes. They also invested £125,000 in cash and in-kind support to community and social projects. They invested a further £122,000 in establishing the Social Marketing Network which provides a range of resources for senior leaders to share knowledge about how to affect positive change.
 
Alongside core community and social investment Corporate Culture operate an employee volunteering framework developed by the employees themselves. Over 70% of employees are currently engaged in volunteering.
 
Development of personal learning plans for all employees backed by substantial investment in training and development has resulted in an increase in satisfaction on training from 4% to 75% in the last year.

Impact

  • Pre- tax profit has grown by 356% and base operating costs have been reduced by £59,000 despite growth in scale of the company.
  • Through flexible working arrangements 60% of employees are women with 25% of these having school age children.
  • Corporate Culture has achieved 3 year reaccreditation for ISO 9001 and Investors in People.
  • Environmental improvements have put Corporate Culture on target to save 65, 276 KWH of energy and 160 cubic metres of water.
